Openreach, the UK’s largest fibre optic network provider, has placed another order for multiple Flowplant Desilters, taking its fleet to over 50 machines.

The Desilters are used every day to clear the way for one of the largest roll outs of fibre optic cable, anywhere in the world.

Powered by the Harben Jump Jet our Desilter trailers can clear ducts in excess of 300m. No other system on the market can clear such large distances with low pressure and minimal water.

Mark Preston, Sales Manager, says “The ability to desilt long ducts with low pressure removes the risk of any damage occurring to existing cable. Our Jump Jet safely outperforms all other cleaning methods and we have desilted 1000’s of kilometres without incident.”
