Flowplant continues its long-standing relationship with Craigs as two Harben powered units arrive at their Lisburn depot today for pre-delivery inspections.

The DTK 500 Desilter trailer will add to the growing fleet of Harben machines already present in the region. Desilting is a demanding application. Machines have to propel a high pressure hose hundreds of meters into heavily blocked ducts; often already packed with delicate fibre optic cables. Traditional jetting machines operate at higher pressures than the Harben desilter system and risk severely damaging in situ cables.

The van pack, a Harben Lightpack model can jet up to 16gpm. The customer specified an additional 400 litre water tank and high capacity hose reel to make the most of its impressive performance. The Lightpack will easily clear drains up to 300mm diameter often outperforming much larger and more expensive machines.

Both Flowplant machines will be commissioned and supported by Craigs experienced service engineers. We know there will be many more to follow.
