20 litres low toxicity (propylene glycol) anti-freeze fluid
Flowplant recommend low toxicity Propylene Glycol anti-freeze for use with our jetters. After anti-freezing a unit, there is always a residue left in the high-pressure system, which will foam or froth during high pressure operations. So if jetting into a duct or drain, then the less toxic and bio-degradable anti-freeze is the preferred option.
The type that is supplied by most high street retailers will clearly state ‘Do not empty into drains,’ and this should not be used due to the environmental impact.
If the anti-freeze is not circulated through the system and is left in the tank only, the jetter will not be protected.
